Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is the next step in Nespresso's one-touch brewing. It can make espresso and lungo in under an hour, and can accept various capsules from the company.

The machine can also be programmed to make the exact amount of drinks you require. This is a great feature for busy households.
Easy to use
This black Nespresso machine that is basic in appearance, is simple to maintain and use. It is minimalist in its simple design with just one button on the top that controls powering, rinsing the brewing process and much more. Simply remove the lid, insert the capsule and click to start brewing. It's quick to heat up and offers numerous drink options, including a double-shot espresso or a 5-, 8 or 18-ounce cup of coffee. It also comes with a steaming tool that can create a textured, cafe-like appearance to your drinks. While we love its easy interface and compact design, we found that the machine doesn't perform like higher-end models when it comes to brewing rich coffee and espresso. It's also not as simple to recycle capsules as other machines we tried. Because of this, Nespresso isn't one of the top choices for our side-by-side test.
Quick to brew
The Nespresso machine can brew an espresso cup in 15 seconds. The heated water from the reservoir is introduced through a pump and through small holes on the top of the coffee pod. It is then mixed with the compacted ground coffee inside, and then drips into your cup. We tested the machine with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso capsules, and it produced a rich and flavorful espresso with a slight nutty taste. We also tested whole, 2% and almond milk and found that all performed very well.
Easy to clean
It is essential to clean a Nespresso machine regularly, both inside and out. This will ensure that the machine is in good order and ensure its safety. It will also make the coffee you make taste better. It is possible to clean a Nespresso using a variety of cleaners, including vinegar. It is however recommended to make use of a descaling solution instead, since vinegar can cause damage to the machine.
To clean your Nespresso machine, remove all the pods. Then, clean nespresso original machine and the capsule container. Fill the sink with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Let the drip tray and container soak in the soapy water for some time to remove the gunk and stain. Rinse them off with hot water, and then employ a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to scrub off any residues or stains. After you scrub the capsules and drip tray then rinse them once more and allow them to completely dry before returning them to your machine.
When your machine is clean and descaled, it's time to clean it. Follow the steps in your manual for a specific procedure. You can also make your own DIY descaling solution using white vinegar or citric acid. If you're using vinegar, ensure that it's white vinegar and not balsamic or apple, because they're too abrasive.
